Although this game had the same concept as the Math Mat Addition, it sometimes did not register the answers. The concept and entertainment/educational value is still worth it. GameMathMath-3(5/5)

Entertaining video which teaches phonics and word building. VideoReading Reading-1(5/5)
Great concept for young children. It allows them to play fun games with popular characters but in order to advance to the next level they must answer basic spelling or math questions. GameVariousVarious(5/5)
Great to have if your child is learning cursive in school. The dry erase board saves paper and permits infinite practice. WorkbookWritingReading-2(5/5)
I borrowed Level 2 from someone to try something new and loved it. It does a great job of helping to teach blends and complicated methods. WorkbookReading Various(5/5)
I know many people hate common core, but I love this workbook. Although challenging, instructions were clear and content was sensible. My son learned a lot. Highly recommend. WorkbookMathVarious(5/5)

LOVE IT: this book provides so much detail on many positive little known black history facts and individuals in short easy to read paragraphs. Great for parents and children. Book(s)HistoryReading-3(5/5)
My son and I enjoyed this one. I encompassed several different concepts within one kit with science experiments he could perform on his own. Most importantly he learned a great deal. KitElectronics Science-2(5/5)
The TAG Reader Pen is used for TAG Books, maps and other Leapfrog products. I found this device invaluable. That said, please note that there is an upgraded version that also assists with teaching children how to write. Book(s)Reading Reading-1(5/5)
These books are must haves because they cover the basics of almost every imaginable subject and provide simple instruction to assist the novice instructor. WorkbookVariousVarious(5/5)
This book is great for teaching children a major concept that will help double or triple their vocabulary and it comes in handy when taking standardized tests which focus on vocabulary like the SAT. WorkbookReading Reading-4(5/5)
This book is great for teaching children a major concept that will help double or triple their vocabulary. I would prefer if the activities were more varied (they are the same for each unit) but otherwise this is a good resource. WorkbookReading Reading-4(5/5)
This entertaining video teaches the next steps to reading, comprehension combined with organization and structure. VideoReading Reading-2(5/5)
This game was great. My son and I played it often and he became a great deal more proficient in adding and subtracting because of it. GameMathMath-3(5/5)
This is a Must Have for teaching about the human body. It contains a small human being whose insides you can assemble and disassemble according to the diagram. The book also provides a great overview of ever organ. KitBiology Science-2(5/5)
This video was a God send. I had taught my son how to read but was having difficulty teaching long vowels and silent 'e' but this video did it. Definitely recommend it for next level reading. VideoReading Reading-2(5/5)
This was a good book with simple and easy to follow concepts to help children remember "HOW" to multiply and not just memorize the multiplication tables. WorkbookMath Math-3(5/5)
This was a very simple book but not only did my son enjoy it but seemed to grasp the concept of saving money. Double win!Book(s)Money Math-2(5/5)
One of Leapfrog's best, all encompassing videos. An entertaining story line which teaches key lessons about phonics, counting, days of the week and animals before the kids in the story start school. VideoReading Reading-0(5/5)
Like the rest of the Leapfrog set this is a great video, it teaches the alphabet, letter names, letter sounds (phonics) all while tying into a good story line. VideoReading Reading-0(5/5)
Absolutely wonderful, descriptive, visual and child friendly book that my son could not put down. Book(s)History Reading-3(5/5)

Great book for teaching and assessing difficult to comprehend grammar concepts helps to develop the beginning stages for SAT Preparation. WorkbookReading Reading-4(5/5)
One of my son's favorite workbooks. It uses fun activities to teach reading comprehension methods which are regularly tested in school and on standardized tests. WorkbookReading Reading-4(5/5)
This book will help to assess your child's understanding of the grammar and reading comprehension taught in other scholastic books. WorkbookReading Reading-4(5/5)
As always Flash cards are a must have, but checking the dollar store to save money is highly recommended Flash CardsMoney Math-2(5/5)
A wonderful book to teach the Civil Rights Movement in a child friendly way. It also gives students demonstratable activities to perform. Book(s)History Reading-3(4/5)
Any time you teach about money it is great to have a physical set. My son uses it for his 'store' and is required to make change for his patrons which he must use math to do. Overall a great buy. GameMoney Math-2(4/5)
Entertaining video that teaches number recognition, addition, subtraction and skip counting by 10s. VideoMathMath-1(4/5)
Great book which helps teach somewhat complicated vocabulary words in a memorable cartoon which helps promote memorization.Book(s)Reading Reading-4(4/5)
I am a fan of the Rich Dad series and how it breaks down the concepts of wealth and income attainment and I believe this book, which is a comic book form of the original, helps to do just that. Highly recommendBook(s)Money Reading-4(4/5)
I did like this system when my son was a baby, but at $100 I cannot recommend purchasing it. I recommend finding other devices that accomplish the same idea for less money or offers more for the same price. Book(s)Reading Reading-0(4/5)
I enjoyed these books, they were small, inexpensive and very easy for an emerging reader. Book(s)Reading Reading-1(4/5)
I loved the idea of this game. The idea of connecting cubes with blends, digraphs, or single letters to make words, is exactly what needs to happen for children to comprehend reading. Sadly my son did not enjoy it as much. GameReading Reading-2(4/5)
I wanted my son to expand his creativity by drawing. These books did just that. We often use them during family time. WorkbookArtAny(4/5)

If you get the little touch from leapfrog this item comes standard, otherwise do not get this item. It is great for exposing your child to the alphabet. Book(s)Reading Reading-0(4/5)
The 3rd grade division book offered a great deal of problems but NO explanations. This is a good book to have for review only.WorkbookMathVarious(4/5)
These books are good to have when your child starts asking those sensible but often unconsidered questions like, "why is the sky blue". These books provide a quick, simple but honest explanation. Book(s)ScienceScience-1(4/5)
This game is fun but requires some critical thinking ability. Not a must have but we enjoyed playing this game as a family. GameVariousReading-3(4/5)
Video is entertaining but short to keep children's attention. Teaches counting and sorting. VideoMathMath-0(4/5)
Good book for children interested in learning more about space than basic planetary alignment. It goes into detail about what spaceships and what it is like to be an astronaut. Great book for future astronauts. Book(s)AstronomyScience-2(4/5)
This is a great and well illustrated book for young kids who may be interested in learning more about space. Book(s)AstronomyScience-1(4/5)

This is good to have to promote the learning of art. 100s of printable worksheets are also available online. WorkbookWritingAny(4/5)
Although this is not a teaching tool, I like it because it influences critical thinking and keeps my son entertained with fun but thought provoking gamesWorkbookCritical Thinking Reading-4(3/5)
Although this is not as bad as the multiplication, it tends to test on subjects it anticipates a student should know. If your child has not been exposed to the material or his school uses different terms then it is worthless. Flash CardsVocabulary Reading-3(3/5)
I had high hopes for this and the experiments are ok but they are limited and tedious and my son hasn’t returned to use it as he has the others. KitElectronics Science-2(3/5)
I liked this book and what it taught and the website that accompanied it. Does a great deal to teach about entreprenuership and business management. Book(s)Money Reading-3(3/5)
I Love Leapfrog but the maps fell short for me. They did not go into great detail, were limited in scope and my son found it uninteresting. Book(s)GeographyScience-1(3/5)
I Love Leapfrog but the maps fell short for me. They did not go into great detail, were limited in scope and my son found it uninteresting. Book(s)GeographyScience-1(3/5)
Operation is an oldie but goodie. It’s a fun game but it still has a small prat in teaching young impressionable children about the human body and where organs go. GameBiology Science-0(3/5)
This book is very different from my expectations. It attempts to teach children basics about credit cards, checking accounts investments budgets and the federal government. Important concepts, perhaps, but it is not money management. Book(s)Money Reading-4(3/5)
This flip chart is the same as the visual learning guides. The difference is that it is larger, does not contain a CD, and is $10 cheaper. A better deal overall but I still believe you can find laminated guides at a cheaper cost. GuideMathVarious(3/5)
This game is designed to foster creativity and promote critical thinking. Additionally for young men it teaches them the concept of building, screwing and nailing items. Sadly it fell a bit short in delivery. GameCritical Thinking Any(3/5)
This game is designed to foster creativity and promote critical thinking. Overall decent, but not a must buy since there are so many similar options available. GameCritical Thinking Any(3/5)
This is basically a set of laminated cheat sheets and a CD. Although I really like this set,for the cost I suggest finding another option or even considering printing and laminating your own. GuideMathVarious(3/5)
This stories in the book set were interesting and helped exposed my son to the alphabet in an interesting context. Book(s)Reading Parent(3/5)
Love the overall concept. There are about 50 experiment cards with good instructions, but you do need a lot of additional supplies and sometimes the experiments do not work out. KitChemistry Science-1(3/5)
Admittedly I barely remember this game, but I do recall it being outdated and my son losing interest very very quickly. CD/WebVariousVarious(2/5)
I hate to be overly critical but I felt these books were a rip off. Although the stories contained sight words they were illogical and the books were expensive in comparison to others which provided better content. Book(s)Reading Reading-3(2/5)
I wish I could say this Pen is better or at least equal to the TAG Reader but its not, it can never recognize the right answers. Also you can identify the answers using the answer sheet without the pen.Flash CardsVariousReading-2(2/5)
My son had grown interested in Origami after learning about it from a friend of mine. I purchased this kit thinking it could help expand his creativity, but sorry to say it was not good at all. Most of the animals required 25-35 folds to make and they never came out correctly, even when, us, adults created them. I like the idea of Origami but this is not the one to get. WorkbookArtAny(2/5)
My son loved this but there was no educational value and the item did not stay together. GameChemistry Science-0(2/5)
My son loved this but there was no educational value and the item did not stay together. GameChemistry Science-0(2/5)
Perhaps it’s the desire for instant gratification, but I felt we got nothing out of these experiments. Basically it has you swab your mouth and put it in solution, you create in order to preserve your DNA… LAME. KitChemistry Science-2(2/5)
This was very disappointing. It exposes children to the 'idea' of using a telescope by using fake slides. GameScienceScience-0(2/5)
Outdated and uninteresting. CD/WebMathMath-1(2/5)
Outdated and uninteresting. CD/WebVarious Reading-1(2/5)
I know many people swear by this but I hated it and my son did as well. The tapes were poorly done and attempted to teach children by flashing words quickly on the screen in a badly filmed video. Sure, kids eventually remember the word, but that is not reading since it does not help them learn new words. VideoReading Reading-0(1/5)
I thought this was great until I realized that my son easily figured out their 'formula'. The answers were always in the same position on the card making it easy to recognize. EPIC FAIL. Flash CardsMathMath-3(1/5)
Maybe my expectations were too high but the Video was uninteresting and failed to hold my son's attention. VideoScienceScience-0(1/5)
Ok this game sucks. It’s a fake version of monopoly that teaches absolutely nothing because it does not give the options to save or spend, it just forces you to take actions based upon what you land on. GameMathMath-3(1/5)
